Can I put a disposable plastic container on the food warmer?
Disposable plastic boxes are not suitable to use on Gourmet Chef WarmMate. Although some disposable plastic boxes are temperature resistant to 100 degrees, they are only for the moment when the food is contained. If they are placed on the WarmMate surface for a long time and heated, there is a risk of melting.
How many boards can I put together on the food warmer?
You can put up to 15 boards together for even heating for multiple dishes.
Can I use it to cook or reheat food?
No, the Gourmet Chef WarmMate is designed for maintaining warmth. It’s not intended for cooking or reheating purposes.
Can I directly put a packet of milk on the WarmMate?
If it is boxed milk or packaged milk, it is not recommended to use high temperature to warm it because if the temperature is high, it will bloat in a closed space and explode over time, so it is recommended to use 40 degrees; If you need to heat it at a high temperature, milk needs to be poured into a cup.
Why is the power indicator of the sub-plate flashing when I connect it with the main plate?
When the temperature level is 40/50/60/70/80/90 degrees, the indicator light of the sub board will flash, which means that it has been connected and powered on. This is because these gears do not work at full power, the electricity of the motherboard and the sub-board are all thorough the thyristor on the PCB, the working mode of the thyristor is to jump work, the flickering frequency of each gear is different, the higher the temperature level, the less frequent the jump, and the sensory indicator light does not flash particularly frequently. However, when it is 99 degrees, the thyristor is normally closed, and the machine is working at full power, so the indicator light will not flash.
