Overview

JeuneTe Defense Sunblock
Did you know that 90% of visible signs of aging are due to sun damage? While living under Singapore’s sweltering sun, there’s no good excuse not to wear sunscreen everyday. But what makes a good sunscreen? A good sunscreen that provides adequate protection must be broad spectrum which protects against both UVA and UVB radiation and plays a part in skin cancer and sun damage. JeuneTe Skin Defense perfectly serves this purpose and is functional, convenient and great for daily use.

It has high SPF60+ UVA/UVB Protection, which blocks about 95% of UVB rays and meets the dermatologists' recommendation of a minimum of SPF 30. It’s also durable and can last up to 6 hours with an impressive PA rating of PA++++. Rather than being outsourced to 3rd party factories, JeuneTe is 100% formulated and produced in their own HSA GMP certified factory in Singapore, so you can be assured that stringent quality control is guaranteed.

What separates it from other sunscreens is also its fast absorption - it glides on super smooth, all without leaving any sticky residue like most sunscreens. It also reduces pigmentation and aids with skin whitening that matches with one’s original skin tone. A good, effective sunscreen like JeuneTe not only reduces the risk of sunburn and skin cancer, but it also prevents signs of skin aging, discolouration and helps reduce inflammation. Definitely a must-have addition for every Singaporean’s daily bag!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long can it last /how often must I reapplied the sunscreen?
When outdoors, reapply sunscreen approximately every two to six hours, depending on activities like swimming, exercising, sweating, or towel drying.

Can I use the sunscreen on my body?
Yes, it can be used on both body and face but do avoid application on the eye area.

What is the difference between UVA and UVB rays?
Over exposure to either of these harmful rays can lead to skin cancer. UVA rays can prematurely age your skin and cause wrinkles and age spots, while UVB rays are the primary cause of sunburn.

What SPF of sunblock is recommended?
Dermatologists recommend getting a sunblock of at least SPF 30. Any SPF higher than 60 might  easily cause acne and pimples as your pores might be blocked. These sunscreens are also meant to stay on your skin and not come off, so they have to be adhesive. They include lots of "silicone polymers" and "acrylate polymers," which make them more water-resistant but also stickier on your skin.
