Material: 63% nylon, 13.5% spandex (elasthane), 12% polyester and 11.5% cotton

 

Cleaning: 

Only hand wash, no wringing or twisting the socks.

Soak in water and squeeze the socks followed by rinsing it under running water or a pail of clean water till the soap is fully washed off. Squeeze the excess water out and hang it to dry, allowing the balanced water to drip off naturally. Do not dry under direct sunlight. Do not dry with a dryer machine or under intense heat.

 

NOTE:

- It is normal to experience the socks being very tight, as long as it is the correct size as per size chart. You may wish to remove and wear back again thereafter till you get used to it. (Do not buy a larger size as there will not be enough compression, which defeats the purpose of the compression socks)

- Wear from bottom tip up. (Turn the socks inside out then fit your toes to the tip of the socks before pulling up)

- Not recommended to wear to sleep

- Hand wash + Air dry only. Do not dry under direct sunlight

- L = Left foot, R = Right foot. Wear according to the correct sides indicated

If it has been quite some time since the surgery, please ensure that the wounds have healed. But preferably, consult your Doctor before purchasing Sankom Socks.

How do I wear it?
You may try wearing Sankom Socks as follows:
- Flip the Sankom Socks inside out and align the tip of the socks with your toes. 
- Pull the ankle portion on the socks over your ankle
- Pull the Sankom Socks up as per normal
- Re-adjust the socks for a more snug fit.

How should I choose my size?
Sankom Socks sizes are determined by looking at your shoe size. 

The size chart is as follow:
Size I:  5 - 7 US | 35 - 38 EU
Size II: 8 - 10 US | 39 - 42 EU
Size III: 11 - 14 US | 43 - 47 EU

Does Sankom Socks go up to the knees?
No, it does not, but it also depends on the length of the individual’s calf. 

Why are the Sankom socks very tight despite choosing the size according to my shoe size?
Like any other compression socks, Sankom socks are meant to be tight to promote blood circulation. Hence you may experience a tougher time wearing the socks. Do note that buying a larger size will defeat the purpose. 
You may try wearing Sankom Socks as follows:
- Flip the Sankom Socks inside out and align the tip of the socks with your toes. 
- Pull the ankle portion on the socks over your ankle
- Pull the Sankom Socks up as per normal

If you are a 1st time user wearing compression socks, please note that it will be uncomfortable, but it is normal. You may try increasing the duration of usage gradually. For instance:
Day 1 - 1 hour
Day 2 - 1 hour 30 minutes
Day 3 - 2 hours 
So on and so forth.

Why does my leg feel itchy after wearing Sankom Socks?
Sankom Socks is meant to be hypoallergenic. However, if you spot rashes which result from wearing Sankom Socks, please seek the Doctor's advice. If there are no rashes, then it is normal to feel itchy as it is an effect of improved blood circulation.
